ZDNET's recommendations are based on many hours of testing, research, and comparison shopping. We gather data from the best available sources, including vendor and retailer listings as well as other relevant and independent reviews sites. And we pore over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the products and services we’re assessing.

When you click through from our site to a retailer and buy a product or service, we may earn affiliate commissions. This helps support our work, but does not affect what we cover or how, and it does not affect the price you pay. Neither ZDNET nor the author are compensated for these independent reviews. Indeed, we follow strict guidelines that ensure our editorial content is never influenced by advertisers.

ZDNET's editorial team writes on behalf of you, our reader. Our goal is to deliver the most accurate information and the most knowledgeable advice possible in order to help you make smarter buying decisions on tech gear and a wide array of products and services. Our editors thoroughly review and fact-check every article to ensure that our content meets the highest standards. If we have made an error or published misleading information, we will correct or clarify the article. If you see inaccuracies in our content, please report the mistake via this form.

We're big fans of the Meta Quest 3S: Editor-in-chief Kerry Wan says it may be "one of the easiest gaming consoles -- let alone VR headsets -- for me to recommend," especially at $50 off.

Samsung's S90C is a mid-range OLED that's now a few models behind, but is still an excellent TV that we've tested and highly recommend -- especially at 50% off. Our former editor Jason Hiner called it "one of the TVs with the best picture quality for the money."

Best Buy has several display sizes of the QM6K TV on sale, and you can save up to $1,300 depending on the size you choose. The 85-inch model is 50% off, one of the best prices we've seen in several months, and it comes at a great time to stream winter sports like the Milan Cortina Olympics.

Also: The TCL Mini LED is the TV I recommend to most people

This model was released at the 2025 CES event, and our expert went hands on with the 65-inch model shortly after in March 2025. He was overall impressed with new upgrades, like color optimization and better brightness.

Our TV expert Taylor Clemons had the chance to test out the Samsung S95F OLED at the ZDNET lab, and they were very impressed with how much powerful tech Samsung managed to put inside such a thin TV. "The updated OLED panel gives you rich, bold colors and deep contrast while HDR10 support helps enhance details to make everything from Hollywood classics to the latest blockbusters look their best," Clemons says. "And the integrated gaming dashboard gives you cloud gaming support, VRR support to prevent screen tearing and stuttering, and an automatic low-latency picture mode."

The Sony Bravia 8 II is an updated version of the brand's flagship OLED TV, offering a brighter picture than its predecessors as well as the ability to fine-tune your settings for the best viewing and listening experience for your space. It even features exclusive VRR support for gaming on the PS5 for a more streamlined experience.

The LG C5 OLED is the brand's flagship TV, offering signature picture quality as well as plenty of premium features for movie buffs. Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos virtual surround sound give you enhanced contrast, detailing, and 3D audio for a more immersive experience while streaming. You also gain access to over 300 free live TV channels with the LG Channels app to help keep you up to date on local news, sports, and entertainment.

Back in November, my colleague and I recommended waiting to purchase the Watch Series 11 until it hit a better price, and it finally has again. It's back down to just $299 -- a massive 25% discount on the most up-to-date mid-range Apple wearable.

Also: I've tested all of Apple's smart watches - I recommend this one in 2026 (and it's $100 off)

Our experts recommend the Series 11 to those who have already used an Apple smartwatch before and want to upgrade battery and health features. We think this is the watch to buy if you want to track your sleep, avoid constant charging, and obtain a full scope of health tracking features.

If you are deeply committed to the Apple ecosystem and you want to keep it that way, you'll want the AirPods Max. The sound quality is great, and Apple's Transparency Mode is a standout feature. Plus, they come in all sorts of colors to fit your style.

The Apple Pencil Pro incorporates advanced features like squeeze, barrel roll, and haptic feedback to make marking up, taking notes, and creating an artistic masterpiece more intuitive. It charges wirelessly and works with the newest iPad Pro and iPad Air models.

If you're looking for a basic Apple Watch, the previous SE model will do the trick. It offers great value for those looking to track basic health and fitness metrics, keep in contact with ease, and benefit from connection to the Apple ecosystem. It's also a great choice for a kid or an older adult. This is close to the lowest price we saw this watch drop during Black Friday sales, $149.

It can be hard to find discounts on PS5 consoles outside of the holiday season, but this bundle comes with a console, eight exclusive Fortnite items, and 1,000 V-Bucks to use in-game.

Our pick for the best budget AirPods you can buy, the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation offer the best features of AirPods at a lower price, including Transparency mode and spatial audio.

The Apple AirTag is designed to work seamlessly with Apple devices like iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. If you open the Find My app on any Apple device and select the appropriate tag, the selected AirTag will beep, helping you to find a missing item if it's nearby.

Presidents' Day is celebrated on the third Monday of February to honor past US presidents. This year, it falls on Monday, Feb. 16.

ZDNET only writes about deals that capture our own interest -- devices and products we want, need, or would recommend not only to our readers, but to friends and family. Our experts look for deals at least 20% off (or hardly ever on sale), using established price-comparison tools and trackers to determine whether the deal is actually worth your time.

We also examine customer reviews and rely on our own hands-on experience with new tech to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the products we're recommending. The goal is to deliver the most accurate advice and to make you aware of price drops so you can shop smarter.

We'll be tracking top offers across our favorite categories, now through the end of the holiday.
